Abu Dhabi’s latest and greatest beach destination, Yas Beach has opened a number of exciting new offerings. Located on the sands of Yas Island, the popular location is taking the Abu Dhabi beach scene up a notch.
After stamping its mark on the 19th of November with the grand unveiling of its beach lounge and hosting international superstar John Digweed over F1 weekend, Yas Beach has launched with great momentum. John Digweed is the first of many international DJs lined up for the decks at Yas Beach, from deep house to laidback lounge, the beach club is set to change the way the capital relaxes, plays and parties.
The new beach lounge area features an open air DJ booth, complete with its own ellipsoidal bar, an infinity pool and five private chalets providing guests with a 5 star luxury experience. Beach and poolside cabanas are also available for the full day or night offering revelers a comfortable spot to party or enjoy the sunset.
The brand new restaurant at Yas Beach provides stunning views of the ocean and mangroves and includes an array of dishes from around the globe, including freshly caught fish. Capable of hosting over 100 guests it offers Yas Beach goers, or those seeking an eclectic beach offering, the perfect location for dinner.
For those keen to enjoy the transition from sundowners into the night, the newly opened Tikki Bar brings the best parts of the Polynesian tropics the heart of Yas Beach.
For those wanting to enjoy some culinary delights during their beach day, Yas Beach brand new food quarter will have guests tucking into a wide selection of tasty Napolitan style pizzas, grills and juices & gelato.
Yas Beach has a 400m sandy bay with sweeping views of the mangroves, five chalets have been added to the complex for private hire, 720 sunbeds and 33 cabanas are also available.
The sports facilities at Yas Beach are excellent. Play volleyball either competitively or with friends. The national championships to be held on the beach twice a year so there isn’t a better place to play.
Watersports at Yas Beach are catered exclusively by the nation’s top aquatic activities group Noukhada, with a wide range of sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, paddle boarding and more.
Tots are treated to seasonal programs with games and competitions, as well as the brand new splash pool to keep them entertained.
Yas Beach offers free entry to all Yas Island hotels guests, as well welcoming local residents from as little as AED50 on weekdays and AED100 on weekends for a full day pass and towel. Beach Cabanas start at AED200 on weekdays and AED400 on weekends and include 2 free entrance passes. Chalets from as little as AED1000 on weekdays and AED2000 on weekends including 4 free entrance passes and a mini bar. Children under 8 go free. Etihad staff can enjoy 30% off 7 days a week.
About Yas Beach
Located on the south coast of Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island, Yas Beach is a fully licensed private beach club offering a variety of facilities. The beach is open 10am-7pm during the week and 10am-10pm at the weekend. The Yas Beach restaurant that opened in 2015 as part of the expansion opens at 10am and take his last order at 10:30 pm, meanwhile the bar lounge is open 10am-1am and guests can enjoy the infinity pool until sunset.
Additionally, the beach destination includes an outdoor gym, two volleyball court and non-motorized water sports as well as a kids’ play area and splash pool, food kiosks, a shop, changing facilities and five private chalets which are available for hire.
Yas Beach offers memberships on a monthly and annual basis, and is open to the general public on a daily basis with an admission fee. Yas Beach opened in 2013 and is operated by Ventura Entertainment as per a lease hold agreement with Aldar Properties PJSC.
